colossians–day 21

I cannot know for certain, but I think God is very improbable. And I live my life on the assumption that He is not there.  –Richard Dawkins, “The God Delusion”

We see that even Richard Dawkins, arguably one of the most famous atheists in our world today, is living by faith. His faith is in the fact that God is not alive. As humans, we will have faith in something. The question is never whether or not a person has faith, but rather in what will he/she place this faith.

We always thank God, the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ…since we heard of your faith in Christ Jesus… 1:3-4a

At the very beginning of Paul’s letter to the Colossians, he expresses how he always thanks God because of their faith IN CHRIST JESUS. We will have faith in something

…and HE ALONE is worthy…
